Growing up, I was enthralled by National Geographic documentaries on flowers of the desert and have always wanted to see them for myself. So, on Mother’s day, when the family asked me what I wanted to do, I instantly thought of hitting the back roads and checking out some of the local flora and fauna. I can’t wait to check out other areas with more of the awesome and diverse plant life.
